Zirtek Allergy Liquid 1 mg/ml Oral Solution contains cetirizine dihydrochloride, a fast-acting, non-drowsy antihistamine used to relieve symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), perennial allergies, and urticaria (hives).
It works by blocking histamine — a chemical released by the body during allergic reactions — to reduce sneezing, itching, runny nose, and watery eyes. The banana-flavoured liquid is easy to swallow and suitable for both adults and children aged 2 years and above.

Zirtek Allergy Liquid is used to treat nasal and eye symptoms of hay fever, pet, and dust allergies, and to relieve itchy skin rashes and hives. It reduces inflammation and provides 24-hour relief from itching, redness, and irritation.
Who is Zirtek Allergy Liquid Suitable For?
Zirtek is suitable for adults and children aged 2 years and over.
Do not take Zirtek if you:
- Are allergic to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, piperazine derivatives, or any of the ingredients listed
- Have severe kidney disease requiring dialysis
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- Have moderate kidney problems or difficulty passing urine
- Have epilepsy or are at risk of convulsions
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Have hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) or sorbitol intolerance
How to Take Zirtek Allergy Liquid
- Measure the dose accurately using the provided measuring spoon.
- Take by mouth once daily (as per age group).
- Do not take more than the recommended dose.
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for the next one.
The solution can be taken with or without food. Do not mix with alcohol.

Warnings and Precautions
- Do not exceed the stated dose or take with alcohol.
- Contains sorbitol — avoid if you have fructose intolerance.
- Contains methyl- and propyl-parahydroxybenzoates which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed).
- Discard 3 months after first opening the bottle.

- Store in the original bottle at room temperature.
- Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
- Discard after 3 months of first opening.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
